Question for this thread.

I currently have a GTX 680 EVGA SC 2gb under water. I game at 1440p, I was going to pull the trigger on a second 680 2gb but then figure if Im grabbing another would it just make sense to sell this one and pick up 2x 4gb? (or obviously wait for the titan which we have no real information on other then hear say)

Thanks for the help.

Does anyone just run water loops for Video Cards? I just got into gaming at 1440p. I have a H100 on the CPU, but thinking of killing heat and fan noise with water cooling.

Hello guys!

I have got here some odd things.
When I try to play with Maffia II the card can handle it easily of course BUT i can see Blocky/Jagged/Pixelated Shadows and I don't know why. I can see the jagged shadows on characters faces etc.
Somebody have/had the same issue ? Have anybody find the solution?
Thanks in advance

I named a couple of things which one where you going to do.

I was also considering the classified's but I think EVGA makes the only block and I can't find them anywhere.

I think the best idea is to unload the 2gb card and get a 4gb version or just wait and see what the Titan brings to the table. But still unload the 2gb card all the same.

Thanks for link, too! I submitted a form, as I just ordered my second 680 (same 3685 EVGA model) that will be here Wednesday!

Alright, I hope it's fine to ask, btu how true is this new Titan GPU? Like, many sites are saying it will release end of this month... but how come no word from Nvidia about a flagship GPU?! If they even announce it, I'll return this new 680, sell my first and buy a 780, most definitely!

It's real. NVIDIA GeForce Titan Features 6 GB Memory – Review Samples Already Shipped

Will ship with 6GB VRAM on a single GPU that will come within 15% performance of a GTX 690 and being estimated at $800.

Overclocked my GTX680 4GB to +165 on the core (+500 memory), but at +170 my Unigine Heaven benchmark failed. No artifacts were detected with my EVGA OC Scanner, so I am at a loss. Is the program lying about the GPU stability (OC Scanner), or is the Heaven program experiencing some sort of error? I can run stable tests up to +185 without failures in game and with the OC Scanner, but not the same case with Heaven. Any ideas?

--I appologize for the "+165-/+" usage. I am confused on how the actual frequency is calculated. I thought it was stock 1019 plus whatever I bump my card at to (+165), but when running EVGA OC Scanner, the NV-C menu sometimes shows 1350Mhz, which is not the sum of the later two numbers.

This is my card btw, EVGA GTX 680 4GB, 2686-KR

I WOULD LOVE TO BE ADDED TO THE GROUP! The link I saw from a previous post did not load. frown.gif
