That is high (compared to mine) How is your fan profile (curve) set?
Also what voltages are you running at?

Is there any obstruction inside the chassis (or of outside vents)?
My case is in the picture no obstructions and profile is 65%min 70%@65 and 75%at 75

Furmark is not good for your GPU.

Hi can i please join the club.

i have 2x EVGA GTX 680 4GB FTW+ cards.

Thanks!

Where did you get that idea? Unless you're pushing your GPU past rated temps furmark isn't going to hurt it.

The only way potentially that furmark could damage a modern day GPU is if it wasn't already functioning properly or if you intentionally left it running longer than is recommended. As with any stress test or benchmark the card is stressed but it is only stressed to the maximum values allowed by the cards design and bios.

That's your issue the GPU thermal throttles around 70C so most likely it's throttling clocks before reaching temps high enough to kick in your 75% throttle.

IMHO I run 80% around 65. You should allow your GPU to ramp up to the full 85% (highest amount without bios mod) before it hits 70C.

is there any game scenario that squeze the gpu and vrm as furmark does? no.

i saw many guys kill their gpu while using the stupid furmark.. so why should i risk mine? thumb.gif

I have moved past the whole benchmark part of my life. I am not overly concerned with anything else but playing a few games when I get some down time
