Had 2 GTX 680 Classifieds delivered to me from Amazon this past Friday. Had a really difficult time deciding between the 680 and Titan. I want the Titan because its new. Still don't like the fact that I just upgraded and bought last years card when the Titan was released.......but I want maximum performance so I guess this is it.

I had the same delima but honestly 2 of the 680 classifieds perform better than 1 titan. I went for TRI SLI instead of 2 Titans in SLI and saved money lol

Thinking about grabbing a gtx 680 but I have a question. I found a gtx 680 ($370) that ocs to 1225 with no voltage bump, but i also found a gtx 670 ftw ($350 with backplates) that boosts to 1345 with stock voltages also. Which would be more worth it.

hey i was wondering if anybody could help me out. i have 2 reference 680s that i bought on release day since i was impatient and couldnt wait, but they look kinda ugly with the rest of my components. so i was wondering, if i were to find someone who watercooled evga gtx 680 signatures or something and buy the unused shroud off them, would the fan slot and screw holes line up and fit on my reference cards?

I say get the 680. They are made to dump the voltage even with air cooling. You can OC it better than 1225. Of course I will also put the following disclosure: Every card OC differently. They are not all guaranted to OC really well. As far as the back plates.... They are just asthetic.

If the cards the shrouds are coming off of are not reference then, the chance of those shrouds fitting will be very low as they usually change the PCB for certain reasons. You would have to find a diagram or measure the hole patterns.
