Oh alright, thanks. Thought you can look how far you can get with stock voltages but seems like not too far. How high can I push the voltage without worrying about anything tho?

Edit:

Alright, tried it a couple more times, put the voltage up all the way as in the 670 OC guide and still the same thing. Even at +40 Core Clock it will just crash after a couple seconds. Surely my card cant be THAT bad of an overclocker?

That sucks.... Keep in mind it is already oc from the factory. At stock settings, what is the core boost?

I am trying to figure how the GTX 680 FTW cools its card. I know the AMD reference design is a shroud. Similar design, 1 fan, shroud, and a back blower. What I can't figure out is that AMD has the air being sucked in from the back, where there is an opening. The GTX 680 FTW has 1 fan, shroud, but there is no opening in the back. This is leading me to believe that it is sucking air in from the fan. In the image below where the is air getting sucked in? Red arrow or Yellow arrow.

You might ask, "Why I am asking". Currently I have a 300R case. Now It is currently housing 2x MSI 7950's TFIII. (Due to acquiring the 680's, I am using the 7950's for Litecoin Mining. "Ohh NO! you won't make money!" Actually its going to be a dual purpose build with the 7950's and a 24/7 server, so its actually making me money. Lets get off tangent.) Now the MSI TF are an open air cooler, which sucks. The top card reaches high 70's. Now I am wondering if I should place the 680's apart from each other, if the air does come in where the red arrow is. The bottom card would restrict the airflow. But if it comes in from the back, then I can put them next to each other.

it intakes air in from the red arrow and blows it out the back were the dvi cables would be, i have 2 in sli sandwiched together.
my temps on average are top card 72degrees bottom card 62degrees. just factory overclock. should be watercooling it all very soon

How do the ftw edition gtx 680 cards overclock vs the regular signature evga gtx 680's. Do you think its worth the extra $20 - $30.

Why 4GB?
Cant the 680s only use up to 2.4 anyway?
