Is this your PSU?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371050

JonnyGuru gave it a a-okay. Says its got four 12v rails with each rated at 40AMPs. You'll be fine if you want to Tri SLI.

Yeah thats it, the problem is i only have 4 pci-e connectors. Would I be able to connect via adapters or is that not a good idea?

How long have you had this PSU?

As for using adapters you can, but at this point I suggest getting a higher quality PSU that can natively support Tri SLI.

I have had it for about 8 months. I guess I will shop around and see what I can find for tri-sli. I dont want to risk anything by using adapters. Thanks for your help!!

I can't overclock mine much further than 1200mhz frown.gif Followed the guide on here, I'm wondering if it's the fact that they run so hot or if it's just a limitation.

modded BIOS or stock.?

Stock. As soon as I push it further than this pic:

I crash.

If I push the power % higher, I actually lose performance. I've done numerous heaven runs, the only way I don't get artifacts and/or crash is these settings at most. My stock is 1150mhz. It's 2x 4gb FTW+.

One thing I will mention, I'm on default voltage right now, but that's only because normal vs maxed out seemed to yield the same results, I can't break these numbers without crashing or having artifacts. Also, my top card runs really hot. The other one can handily stay below 80c often times even 70c in the burn tests, but this top one runs high up to like 90c at times frown.gif

I am upgrading my case and CPU cooler soon, and the case is supposed to have better air flow. Ambient right now is like 25c in my room, getting an air conditioner eventually too. That all having been said, would a modded bios really yield anything for me?

Edit: Tried it out just for fun, some how, I'm getting worse results than before LOL. I must have fudged something up. It's odd because I can't get my fans to go to 100% like I'm supposed to and I can't get my power to go to 150% even though apparently I'm supposed to be able to now.

My bad, need to learn to read. After reboot all was fine. Will test and see what I can do!
