I hope mr. EVGA JACOB is in here watching cause ive messaged him over at the evga forums with no responce..
CALLED they say call back when wen registered(will be easier to sell unregistered?? says registration is OPTIONAL on their site)
Sent a few emails back and forth and was told to uncover my case to put a fan on it and it handles 98c are you kidding me????

The card is rated to get to 98C before overheating, so 70C is more than safe. You may want to open the side panel on your case and aim a house fan directly into it. If the temperature drops you will need to rework the airflow in your case. I would recommend you try the fan method to see if it is indeed an air flow issue. Keep in mind air flow is more than just the amount of fans in the system, it can also be affected by the direction and static pressure of the fans as well as the cable management. Please remove the side panel, aim a house fan into the system, and run OC Scanner with the default fan profile. Alternatively you can send the card into us and have us test it. If it fails we can replace it for you or if it passes we can send it back and address possible other issue...

Sure their few of you that are good at noticing the couple things wrong with the picture here it's noy my fault that I got a DUD mad.gif

So I gotta send card first or pay 50$ for an advanced rma?? They NEED TO EAR ME FOR FREE my product is clearly defective..
No way im sending my card without having the other one first especially with the way the stock is.. and thats not the point..
People here confirming their cards as like a gust of the wind or super cool and quiet etc I want the same and not paying out of pocket!!!

Where did you buy it from? Should have either a 30 day replacement or refund. Without having to deal with RMA.

Yeah I think your running hot and something is wrong. That's running higher than the at even a 480. You should be cooler. I really think they sent you a card with bad applied thermal paste.

Let them know you did much researching and your card is defective rendering your graphics.

I realize all the cards can be different for OC ability but should be the same for temps.

No offense, but you have terrible air flow.. =(

Top and rear should be exhaust. A radiator should ALWAYS exhaust. Otherwise you are heating up your case.
Side and front as intake.

But seriously, with an ambient template of 78°F and your h100 as an intake, your gpu will be running hot

Is that right.. EVERY AND ANY TIME I have ever ran fans through a radiator as EXHAUST my temps have been TERRIBLE
We can back/forth hot air rises or w/e but I bet I get another card without changing fan setup and it's 10c cooler or better..
Some of you are gonna say ohh you have too much negative pressure or positive or not enough but it DOES NOT MATTER!!

Lol you are wondering why you are having horrible temps. The H100 as intake is heating up your case, thus making your GPU temps rise. Yes, switching it to exhaust will raise your cpu temps, but will decrease your GPU temps.

You have fans blowing in all directions, there is no propper air flow it's just all getting pushed around instead of going in and then out

So it does matter. The hot air isn't going anywhere

Ok - I'm going to ask what I might be doing to get the optimal over clocking out of my new card. IF you guys would please go through that list of my current settings and let me know if I have anything wrong or can be changed to improve over clocking.

Nvidia Control Panel Settings / Manage 3D Settings

Ambient Occlusion - OFF
Anisotropic Filtering - Application Controlled
Antaliasing - FXAA - OFF
Antialisaing - Gamma Correction - ON
Antialisaing - Mode - Application Controlled
Antialiasing - Transparency - OFF
CUDA - GPU's - ALL
Maximum pre-rendered frams - Use the 3D application setting
Multi-Diplay / mixed GPU acceleration - Single Display performance mode
Power Management Mode - Adaptive
Texture Filtering - Anistropic sample Optimization - ON
Texture Filtering - Negative LOD bias - Allow
Texture Filtering - Quality - High Performance
Texture Filtering - Trillinear optimization - ON
Threaded Optimization - Auto
Threaded Buffering - OFF
Vertical Sync - Use the 3D application setting

Thanks up front. thumb.gif

All of the fans are intaking being exhausted out by the rear fan and my CPU peaks at 62C..
Hope eVga rep notices my posts and actually responds to my problem I am not asking for much everyone says it's just my card..

Like above have said, you have great CPU temperatures because your H100 is getting cold air from the outside, but your GPU is getting all the hot air from the H100 which is pushing hot air from the radiator to the GPU.

Turn it around, you will see the GPU improve. wink.gif
