Pretty sure my i7 is holding me back in 3DMark a little bit. Still cannot get +150 stable. Temps are insanely good, hopefully voltage control that isn't overwrote by the drivers happens soon...

What voltage were you running to get that ram?

Can't change voltage, it's all dynamic set by drivers (to my knowledge?). Haven't seen a 680 yet that can't get +500 on the RAM. My core seems to be one of the worse on the market though, and since I bought 2.. I'm going to test my friend's shortly. The lowest i've seen on benchmarks for "stable" was +153, so +140 is pretty much a slap in my face. That is assuming that everyone else is testing them correctly. Furmark loads my card like 70% more matter what I do.. it's not a valid test. 3DMark 11 also has not crashed it. Heaven is the only one that won't let me go +150.

I'm downloading Witcher 2 and Crysis right now at 11.7MB/s to do some further testing.

That +500 on memory looks insanely high. I think it hinders your gpu overclock stability.

I suggest you leave memory at stock and find most stable overclock on gpu first. Then work up on the memory from there. You should achieve higher overclock on gpu that way.

This. Additionally, try *lowering* the power limit a little, it sounds counter-intuitive but having read how it all works, it will likely help. You don't want to just slide it to the max always, as you're getting dynamically higher clocks than are stable due to it. The power limit acts as a cap for power draw, and thus clocks and voltage, that turbo boost will set. There's a good writeup of how it works in one of the reviews, I think hardware canucks offhand.

Here, these two pages give a good overview:

The EVGA card does not come with a backplate correct? I just saw them on the EVGA store so I am going to order one if it doesn't (which I am pretty sure it doesn't).

The guy claiming +170 stable went to run heaven and it's been 20 minutes... I'm almost certain it crashed. Seems like heaven is the test for these cards, 3dmark11 has yet to crash mine.
I see no reason to watercool these. How did they get 1.9GHz core with no voltage control? My card sits at 1.067v according to GPU-Z during load. The other guys 1.075v. That could be why mine is not stable and his is. Why do we have no control over this? I should be able to force 1.075v for 3D clocks, or even much higher.
Another thing i'm finding is when Heaven crashes.. my fan goes to 30% and I must reset it at max everytime. It won't budge from 30% (regardless of temps) after it crashes.

Which program are you using to control the OC? Precision or AB?

If Precision, AB will have a better program eventually. I've always found Precision, Trixx and SmartDoctor to have pros and cons of stability.
It's about time they release an official AB instead of all these Betas.

I won't have my card until Tuesday. I'll see what's up then.

am very impressed so far. Running stock and has maxed DX:HR & Skyrim no problem. Currently DL'n Crysis 2 and Batman AC for more DX11 goodness. Coming from GTX260 SLI, this thing is impressive. Temps haven't broken 80 and usage is super low.

Did try to test adaptive sync (but didnt really work). Will test more later.
