That puts things into better context. I figured the heat my be the cultpret but it hasn't been an issue for other cards...in terms of OCing. They get a bit hotter but a bit more aggressive fan profiles always brought the temps in check...without impact to my OC. Thanks for the input...maybe I should consider a water block...or maybe the Kuhler 620 mod. My 680 is only a hold over until the big kepler arrives
. I don't think that 680x2 is very futureproof for my resolution, especially the 2gb versions, and I'm not liking the boost and lack of voltage mods. I'm really quite like everything else though , better then the 7970s I tried.
