Still a very good deal considering it's still mostly MSRP on Newegg. If you're really that upset, I'm sure you can sell it for a reasonably close amount and then buy the 680. Would do it quick though since the prices on the 7970 should drop sometime soon now.

i think im gonna wait and see, i thought about it, and I like AMD, i'm most familiar with their drivers and catalyst and such, ive upgraded far too much in the last month.


and the difference is theres a missing choke on the bottom one

Paid $499 each. The cheapest 7970 is Canada is just shy of $600. Not to mention I have had too many bad experiences with Crossfire in the past.

Ooooh. Can you do some tests for us?

Say run a few benches with single card then pop in the second and run the same tests with the same settings so that we can get an idea of the scaling with Kepler?

Also I'm interested in how they overclock.
