so anyone that has played with the fan curve and then turned it off and left it on AUTO does your fan now slow down as temp rises this is gotta be a bug...

it is messed up unless i had it previosuly checked and it was using the PRE-CONFIGURED fan curve because when it's not checked my fan speeds stays really low..

I'd just stay with using a custom fan curve. Set it up, and let it run. Make sure card stays below 75c as apparently is throttles at that point.

your wrong ive spent hours on in sitting here watching it.. at 69c stock my car is at 1097@1.175v MHZ but as soon as it hits 70c it drops down to 1084@1.162 and so forth the higher the temp..

Others have mentioned 75c and I've been @72c on mine without a drop. Possibly different manufactures using slightly different settings? That still does not change the fact you should make a more aggressive fan curve and not use the default.

I'll have to bench Heaven when I get back home. I only used 3dmark11 and the EVGA furry test for benches. Gotta say my performance in BF3 has improved..haha Never thought going from a SLI 470 setup to a single 680 would increase my combat skill. But I guess having higher quality settings and keeping 100+ FPS does that..haha
