Im kinda leaning torwards a gpu issue or something, I think you have some homework to do on finding comparisons to make sure so you dont waist money.
The 1090/1100t on bf3 will make a difference though if its your cpu causing the issue, I kinda think its probably gpu's though, bf3 will use I think up to 12cores or something, so all 6 cores will share the load. You just have to make sure your mobo can overclock it in a reliable manor, the 1090/1100t use a lot of power and not every mobo is up to the task, maybe search the forums for the mobo club and see how it does with a 6 core. I had issues with the msi 890fxa-gd70 before going with the asus CHV.
Im not so sure on this but I have heard switching to a SSD on bf3 made a difference in gameplay, I kinda ignored that stuff since I always had a SSD but look into that too, just noticed you had a HDD.
Oh and also make sure to overclock your cpu-nb, that helps big time. I had mine at 30xx Mhz but thats on a thuban memory controller from the x6, your denab I think should do 2400-2600mhz without issues if I remember right.

I will post pics tmrw like yours.
I have gigabyte 990fxa ud3, it will oc. I oced nb from 2 to 2.6. Gets hot now!!!!
Idk if ssd will improve, maybe 1-2fps

Any AMD CPU will bottleneck a decent graphics card...

Had a 4.8Ghz Phenom 2 x6 1075T with various crosfire/SLI configurations and in most games it could not drive both GPU's to 99% load constant.
better cancel the gpu and get another cpu.. even before my q9300 i had amd for years and there was a time when amd was better and/or equal to intel. especially since i5/i7 or 2xxK amd is not an option anymore for the flagship gpu´s.
or sell yo 480 sli cards and get both new.. eeeeeeek :/

I don't get why people are saying bottleneck when they got quad cores:

A dual core for a 680 would be bad yes, but a quad core at a decent clock should not give any bottleneck

It's not that simple, a weak CPU will crap out during intense action and thus the frame rate will drop to unplayable levels.

Instructions per clock is king and that is were Sandy Bridge completely out classes any other CPU.

aah yo benchmarks are rather more confusing.. and there are no exact clockspeeds. this is worth nuthing.

look here.. here intel wins
http://www.guru3d.com/article/core-i5-2500k-and-core-i7-2600k-review/20

here its almost equal
http://www.guru3d.com/article/core-i5-2500k-and-core-i7-2600k-review/21

or here
http://www.tomshardware.de/sandy-bridge-core-i7-2600k-core-i5-2500k,testberichte-240702-18.html

it really depends on the GAME and the RESOLUTION.. but in the end you can say INTEL got a big advantage in many apps ( games )

Yeah gaming at 1080/1200, there is no difference alsmost

I play at 1920 1080, so getting a 2500k will improve yeah, but not worth the change right now!

What I want to know is, if I were to go grom my 965 to 1100t, would I see a difference?? in bf3 mostly

When i went intel I forgot to back up my excel frapps files for amd but first thing I did was load bf3 and play on the intel while the numbers were fresh and they were within 5fps of eachother, which is not noticeable, I think in many cases numbers would have been the same.
I also have gpu and memory overclocked on my gtx570 so its probably performing at refference gtx580 numbers.
Here are my settings on the intel, but for amd it was identical but msaa off
338
edit:
try overclocking to 4ghz plus. thats when phenom ii starts to become a monster. You can also test your cpu as a limiting factor if you like, try downclocking it if you cant reach 4ghz and see if fps goes down. You should be safe at 1.5v on your cpu too if your cooling is up to task.

Here results:
On the same settings as yours, except playing in SMALL map 24 TDM

Gpu usage seems good for ultra:
700

Cpu usage not so bad (total cpu usage):
174

Here is fraps bench over a few minutes:
272
avg seems to be around the 50 area

Comparing to your 64 BIG MAP and single 570, THIS IS CRAP AND SHIAT!!!!!
The settings I play with medium/high, and ultra there was no difference in quality AT ALL! So I think I will play on my settings at constant 60fps vsync, but still confused as to why you get ridiculous fps?

SO MY QUESTION!!! Going from 965 to 1100t Would I see fps increase? OCed cpu of course.

No.

It's simple.. your VRAM is limiting. The GTX 460 only has 1 GB of VRAM and thats simply too little for BF3 @ ultra with all the extras like HBAO, or AA, AF etc. turned on.

Thats why a normally weaker GTX 570 might outperform your SLI setup if VRAM usage exceeds 1024 MB.
