Possibly Youngest Pc Enthusiast? - Page 7

Sup man, welcome, it's great here! I was 6 the first time I dismantled a crappy old Dell, and I'm 15 now!

Anyone know if there's a young (like under 20) pc builders club on OCN? biggrin.gif

Was writing basic code from the book that came with my Commodore Vic 20 at age 7.
Syntax error you bastard.
Didn't even give a line number back then lol.

Age doesn't matter much on these forums. Be respectful and modest and you should have no problem fitting right in!
I would suggest adding your main rig you build to your signature. You can do this through "My profile" up top and then scrolling down to rigs

Well said, on all counts.

My first pc that I built was a Pentium II also biggrin.gif. However, at 9 I was making graphical QBASIC games (started playing with it at ~7) and playing with C++ smile.gif, I didn't start building computers until a few years later when I advanced more with C++.

Welcome to OCN!

I'm 25 and I still think I'm young (at heart)! Doesn't really matter how old you are, as long you love what you're doing.

By the way, I still have my old 486. That's how long I've been exposed to computers.

I'm the same. Earliest PC I had at my house was a 286 that I used (school had an 8086 haha, but it was relatively older at that point)... I always feel and have said that early exposure to computers and thinking logically/critical thinking skills learned from programming, diagnosing, building, fixing, etc. for them have bettered me and my life smile.gif.

Guys,
I was thinking about making a series of videos for commonly asked questions on the forum.
So if some one asks a question you can link them to the video.
So guys, what are the most commonly asked questions?thumb.gif
