Hey guys,
I converted my main rig (signature) into a semi-HTPC after I bought a laptop. The reason why HTPC is because the Desktop is still connected to my monitor, with a keyboard and mouse and runs Windows 7. I still need it to function as a PC for certain task.
I got XBMC installed and everything is working good. I've ordered an Asus Xonar DX sound card (Using onboard atm) and a headphone, Superlux HD669 (Using a cheap brandless atm) to enhance my movie watching experience.
I know that its a step up going from onboard sound to a discrete sound card, but what about when it comes to graphics? Am I going to see better visuals compared to using the default gpu? ( assuming that the quality of encodes are the same)
P/s: There is no gaming involved, so i don't need a graphic card for games, just for movies.
