Its assigning the gpu to slot 0, however, it seems as if its giving my computer as machine 2, instead of 0 or 1.
I will try a new user account and a fresh install as you asked. And I am not certain how to install just the gpu client, outside of using 6.41 which I did end up trying sometime a day or so ago after reading that people were getting it to use 1/4 of its cores to fold instead of just none.
Sorry about the run on there.
That log was taken directly from the client itself, not from the /roaming/fahclient log folder.
GTX 680 is now folding. After I set up hfm I will start reporting ppd.
Towards the bottom of this page here, you can find instructions.
I cannot configure hfm properly at this moment, but I think the picture shows ppd, and the afterburner shows temps. I will try to get other information as requested or try other things as new clients or new core's are released. I should be getting around 80k ppd now. Hopefully that will go up as new client's come out. I will also post a kill-a-watt picture, either later today or tommorow to show power draw.
I tried a very light overclock. 1168 ( I think its light, though I'm not certain) Which pushed the ppd up to 22k, and the temp to 65c.
Question, The last wu that finished was a 8019. When it completed it popped up a display, saying something along the lines of fahclient core wrapper 0x00???? was missing, then it went to updating, and nothing came of it. So I restarted the client, a slightly laggy start up, it downloaded another unit, and went about its business. I will try and catch what the error was next time if it happens again. And, if and when the next points update goes through, I will report of it sent in the points or not.
Points were turned in and counted. I'll to keep watch of it next time to see if it does it again.Edited by jesusboots - 4/15/12 at 12:25pm
