FX-6200 only showing 4 cores??

I installed an FX-6200 lastnight on my MSI890GXM-G65, and it is only showing 4 cores and 4 threads on all my software....CPUz, AMD OD, and the MSI Control Center. I know the board is only an AM3 board, but will that short me on the 2 cores? If i look in the device manager it shows 6 CPUs?!?!

I only bought the CPU due to my brother needing to upgrade his rig so i gave him my Phenom ii x4 925, and saw that this CPU was supported by my card so i grabbed it. knowing it is only an AM3 board, will i ever be able to get the other core to show up in the h/w monitors?

Yes sir. Running the latest and greatest. Ver 1.13. Sure is uncomforting flashing a BIOS too. That was my first time. Im new to messing around with PCs. I have known the hardware for years, but never messed with anything.

Also, to get it to post i needed to clear the CMOS. So it's up to date and running, but not showing all cores. Is there something i have to do in the BIOS to activate them? Im kinda lost and threw myslef out there on a prayer to see if the CPU would even work in the mobo.

yes check in bios see that all cores are turn on

The thought of a 6-core processor running on this board makes me iffy, even if this is a 95W TDP processor.  You may want to read the link "About VRMs & MOSFETs" in my sig which documents the frequent VRM failures this board experienced with Phenom II x6 processors.  Heck, you may want to leave those two cores alone to keep the power consumption levels down.
