I've made the switch to Chrome recently, previously when I tried it the first issue I ran into was the trashy AdBlock extension, immediately uninstalled after that.
I installed AdBlock+ Beta version, and it's improved enough for me to use it daily.. the greasemonkey alternatives for Chrome are lacking, but they work.
Then checked that IDM was integrated properly.. nope, it has the limited implementation of IDM CC - annoying to say the least.
After that I starting configuring privacy settings.. specifically the option which exists in Firefox to simply turn off recording of browsing history and search history, and now I've returned to Firefox - I simply cannot find an option anywhere to turn off history, YES I know you can do Ctrl+Shift+DEL to bring up the dialogue box that lets you clear history.. but that's unacceptable, that requires frequent user interaction whereas the Firefox setting simply turns it off completely.. so no Chrome for me.
EDIT: also discovered the lack of bookmarking search fields, in Firefox you can right click for example.. the search field up the top where you search for a movie, and bookmark it with a keyword, you would use that keyword in the address bar to use the search field, eg. imdb for keyword you would simply type "imdb shawshank redemption" and it would search for that.. I can't find a similar feature in Chrome.
EDIT2: Found that you CAN edit search engines to do the same thing, BUT no right click functionality means that It won't work for Forum search where the search result URL is something like "search.php?sid=901283af9sda0d812312390adasdas"Edited by ressurrectin - 3/23/12 at 11:13am
