And yet another thread falls prey to what browser user x uses....

It's not like it takes any more effort than downloading a browser other than IE to begin with, or downloading an app from an app store. The average user may not end up downloading any but they're certainly capable of doing it within minutes if they'd like.

isn't that what the browser war is all about? if you give me the fastest browser that is impossible to navigate or very user unfriendly, I'm not going to choose it. I want something that's fairly easy to use and performs about the same as the competition. If performance is relatively equal, then I'll choose the one I like the looks of, or the one that's easiest for me to navigate. As it's pretty hard to find one browser that is noticeably slower (real world, not stupid benchmarks) than the other, so it more or less turns into a game of who can create the smoothest and friendliest user-interface for a browser. As that is purely subjective, so too will this topic forever remain subjective.

You're taking my statement out of context. This thread is about how Google beat IE, not how I enjoy using IE because of x.

A good example of an on topic post is below. You see how he doesn't put his two cents about how FireFox is 1337?

sigh

IE sucks

Chrome steals your informations.

Not much remaining.

Out of curiosity, what information do you presume it "steals?"

This is kind of surprising, as everything I have seen indicates people have been ditching Chrome in recent months in favor of IE9/FF. Then out of the blue it takes the lead?

Your name, familly name, civial address, phone number, cellphone number, passwords, usernames, credit card informations, geolocalization, your friend's name, where you were 4 days ago you couldn't tell but google could. They can track how many times you F*P a day. That's all recorded somewhere on their 12309 peta million flop servers.

I wouldn't be surprise google phones would stream users camera live to google recording machine. (Or at least have a picture per 30 seconds)

Google+
Google Chrome
Google OS
Google Phone

Don't you see what they are trying to do ?(Do I have to remember you they were cracking router's password live as they were going through every single street in populated zones)
The only reason why I use google chrome is to download Firefox (thus avoiding using IE)
