Google your cool and all but I dont trust you enough for our relationship to go farther yet. biggrin.gif

Chrome is not tied into your other google services in any way unless you specifically use the sync feature or stay logged into your google account. In the former case, that would hold true for any browser and not just chrome.

Chrome FTW. I stopped using FF when it started chewing RAM and leaving orphaned processes that won't release their RAM.

i switched to chrome from firefox recently. got tired of all the pointless updates and horrendous memory usage. kicker was the fact that latest versions actually locked up my computer requiring a hard reset.

Seems like you havent tried them out recently then. For very few tabs, I find chrome better. Firefox is way better when I use tons of tabs (which is most of the times). It also uses less ram with a lot of tabs open compared to chrome. One of the most ridiculous problems I keep having with chrome is not the fact that it crashes much more often than firefox with many tabs, but it even loses those tabs when I reopen chrome. History doesnt show the +50 tabs that I lost when it crashed.

Likewise. I have to use Chrome because Netflix doesn't like Opera.

Sorry, I was an avid Firefox user until the day Chrome became public. I've never looked back. It absolutely eats Firefox in pretty much every aspect. 50 tabs? Never crashes for me... not even when I had 4GB DDR2. Firefox, however, would randomly freeze ENTIRELY (can't close tabs, can't close Firefox even by killing the task) at times with as little as 2-3 tabs open. Inb4 Google fanboy; this was long after Chrome even came out.

I wouldn't be surprise google phones would stream users camera live to google recording machine. (Or at least have a picture per 30 seconds)

Don't you see what they are trying to do ?(Do I have to remember you they were cracking router's password live as they were going through every single street in populated zones)
The only reason why I use google chrome is to download Firefox (thus avoiding using IE)

Disregard, he has no CLUE what even went on.
