HDD light means activity in SATA data drive. It includes SSD as well. When you browser the internet you are downloading webpages to your SSD.
Since SSD's are so fast, they don't have activity has long as an HDD does so the light will come on much less. Also with an HDD, operations take longer so it may seem like the light is just on solid while the SSD will just faintly blink for the same thing.
While you're browsing the web, as previous user said, data is constantly being written and read from your Temp folder on the SSD which creates enough activity for the light to become active.
