1280x720 Problem!

Hi guys, have a big problem. I have 24 inch ViewSonic 1080p LED Monitor, and Msi GTX 560 TI. Sometimes I record gameplays from games like Call of Duty and when I do i like to set my resolution on 720p because its lower file size and it doesnt lag at all. So I've done couple of gameplays before and the quality is perfect resolution is nice no problems, but now when I try to set my resolution to 720p my screen goes nuts and it doesn't show the full picture and also the resolution looks like its 640x480. I tried many games and same thing happens, and I did a little test i recorded with Fraps to see and when I opened the video the quality was perfect the screen was full and it was just like 720p clear and no problems. So if any of you know how to fix this please help frown.gif Also I'm using a DVI cable not HDMI if that helps because I herd some people had problems with using HDMI over DVI . The thing I don't get is before I didn't have those problems and now all of a sudden it happened frown.gif I tried reinstalling drivers many times even using Driver Sweeper before installing new drivers and nothing fixed it.

Basically something has probably changed with a driver update that has reset the scaling options.

Go into your NV CPL (Nvidia Control Panel) and look for the monitor scaling options. You'll have to play with is to get it to do what you want. See if that fixes it for you. smile.gif
