Pros of console gaming:
1. Chances are higher for you to play more comfortably on a console than on a PC. At least, the scenario of a big sofa with a nice table where to put some snacks and coke with a huge 42' led TV in front of it is more commonly seen with a console rather than with a PC.
2. Since piracy has grown as much as how we know it today, consoles tend to have more exclusives than the PC. And by consoles I mean the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, not just a specific platform. There are a lot of good console games which could have had a space on PC if it wasn't because of the high level of piracy affecting PC gaming.

Pros of PC gaming:
1. Steam: Awesome service for downloading games.
2. Games in general cost less on PC than on consoles.
3. Games look better on PC because of the advanced technology newer PC's have.
4. You got the modding community which will add a lot of cool stuff to specific games.
5. Online gaming is always better on PC.

What's the cheapest X-Box 360 controllers for Windows. I've looked an it seems like it's $59.99 U.S. I think that you might be right. It because I'm playing GTA 4 with the keyboard and mouse and that's probably why it feels different. It doesn't feel comfortable for me. I think keyboard and mouse is for FPS.

That is horrible lol I use a PS3 controller when I play GTA IV on PC

For me it's a feeling of immersion. I went from PC gaming, to console gaming, then back to PC gaming. when consoles were in the glory days (N64, PSX, some of the PS2 era) i was hardcore console gaming. but this gen has been very flat and disappointing. no games in this gen has been able to grab me by the balls and suck me in like PC gaming ALWAYS has.

Back then, I played on this 13" Samsung GX gaming TV and I didn't know how tiny the sucker was. Now I'm playing on a flat monitor that is double it's size and kills it's visually resolution wise. I have Skyrim, but I am not impressed. I'm sort of impressed with Deux Ex: Human Revolution. I don't know. I've probably just lost "grown out of games." I like Quake Live, but there are plenty of I think "cheaters" shooting the rail gun 3-5 times in a row. I remember how I used to get thrilled seeing Doom. Truthfully, it was more fun buying the computer parts, waiting for the parts and then assembling it LMAO. Who knows, only time will tell why I lost interest in games.

Because when you game on a PC it is yours and you can buy and configure it the way you want to, and use what ever type of controller you want to and hardware you want to, and mod it and customize everything (if the game permits it) with a console you cant do anything like that.

I have more fun playing on my xbox, but I have tons of fun playing starcraft too. I will say though, PC ruined Battlefield 3 for me. I cannot stand it on the xbox because the graphics are so bad I cannot see anything past 100ft away, and my friends dont play on PC.

That's probably one good thing about consoles. FPS games, players can't download aimbot cheats.
