Corsair's Response to Leaking H100.

Thread Starter
So if you were around this sections about 2 weeks ago, you would of noticed a thread I made asking for help for a leaking H100 and needed advice. This is a somewhat review of Corsair's service because some people asked me to tell them how it went.

The original thread is here:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1223748/help-h100-leaking-need-advice/100#post_16675181
It contains all the information of the build, leakage, pictures etc. of the leakage from the pump and onto the Video Card.

Throughout the process of that incident people told me to get a temporary CPU cooler and contact Corsair right away. I went to their website and placed an RMA request giving them all the details. I just received a single response of "I'm sorry to hear that, please proceed with the RMA process" and never heard from the after that because gMail likes to think they're spam.

A little confusion but I was contacted by CorsairGeorge and settled the problem. I finally came into contact with 2 Corsair people helping me through the process. In the end they sent me a UPS tracking slip and refunded me 299.99 for my Video Card and sent a replacement H100 right away.

The RMA process was fast and I received the new H100 and the check on the same day. thumb.gif The H100 that I received was packaged like new (not like the one NewEgg sent me). There was 2 bent fins on the rad but was easily bent into place. (Can't expect a radiator to be perfect) and there was a slight difference to the way this one looks. The pump and hose seemed to feel sturdier and the shroud for the radiator was spaced a little further from the fins. (Because the old one was really close and screwing in the fans would make the screw go through the fins)

My final conclusion:
I have never been happier with a company's customer service in my life. Everything went smooth for my first RMA and ended up perfect with no lose (except $44 for a temporary 212 Evo) I am so happy to have chosen Corsair as a part of my "Corsair/Asus" build and if I could I would give them 6 out of 5 stars.

Thank you Corsair. smile.gif

Glad everything worked out for you.

You are right, great customer service is why I love Corsair. Things go wrong and parts fail, no matter how high the quality. It is how these situations are handled that gives the measure of a company.

In the process of RMAing some RAM to them at the moment, so far it has been smooth sailing.

Thanks for posting back with this. To often we only hear the horror stories.

Glad to hear corsair stands behind they're products.

Wow, that's impressive that they covered the leak damage. I would have figured they would only replace H100. Kudos to those guys for making things right.thumb.gif

corsair is #1 they even replaced your GPU and they dont een deal with GPU's but i'm wondering why they paid for your GPU when obviously corsair doesn't deal with it. but anyways you got the best of both worlds
