I must say from last series with new 28nm fab this was a very nice leap of performance IMO. Both 7970 and 680 should make both camps very happy.

I'm glad Nvidia was able to respond with something comparable. I was getting worried with all the rumors floating around it wasn't going to turn out pretty.

Not to be overly critical, but you would think he would use a 3960X instead of a 3930k...considering he would probably get like .1 higher physics score for a few extra points with the higher cache.

I mean if you are gonna go this crazy with overclocking why wouldn't you use the best of the best?

well I reckon this generation is gonna be epic for the ln2 crowd!!! both cards clock amazingly!!

I reckon overclocking is gonna move back to being skill based rather than who just got the best gpu's (as it was imo)
