Hey guys started a mod on my Antec 300 case. I was bored and was inspired by a lot of other modders and decided to try a hand at it myself. Just a quick run down on what im planning on doing im going to cut holes in both side panels, attach a h100 radiator to the front of the case where the 2 120 mm fans sit, im going to install a removable mother board tray with custom track, mount my ssd, HDD, in the 5.25 bay. have two 140mm fans installed on top with dust filters.
Ive also bought a bunch of heat shrink for cable management and will be drilling holes and installing grommets for a nice clean looking case smile.gif so with out further hesitation heres what i have so far!

So i cut out the windows today, i still need to apply the u channel, im waiting for that package to still arrive! Also fixed my fan controller to look more uniform. was kind of nerve wrecking to use the jig saw but i got more comfortable with it as i cut more. i think it turned out pretty well, practice makes perfect though.

450

Window prepped for cutting

450

First cut, its getting real!

450

so i made a few errors but i was able to correct them and make it look decent, im clearly proud of myself. 1 window down.

450

Action shot getting some.

450

Both windows down sigh of relief.

450

They look so same like the same

450

Its all coming together

450

Flip side, yes the windows are identical but upside down to each other, artistic value.

450

Fan controller, so much sexier

450

No more annoying LED's

Would love to see what you do with it. I have an Antec Illusion 300 that I got on sale as impulse buy and case fetish frown.gif and since I can't seem to sell it I might just mod the heck out of it.

Mod it! i feel like the antec 300 series has so much potential for modders, i suppose i could cut the side windows today but im kind hesitant till i have more practice with my dremel and jig saw. i also need a better means of support while i cut my pieces right now that plastic table just isnt that great.
