Old Alienware Antec case--still good?

I've been lurking for a while but this is my first time posting. I've been busy with school the past few years and not doing a bunch of gaming so suffice it to say my system has fallen by the wayside. I got it 5 years ago next month and haven't upgraded since, so it's well past due for an overhaul.

What does this have to do with cases? Well, it was an Alienware (my parents got it for me--I was in high school and they weren't willing to let me build my own) so it came with a relatively nice case. My best guess is it's an Antec SX1030 SOHO file server case--it's a big mother. Obviously most of the components are getting dumped (or put into a DVR I'm going to build), but I'm not sure what to do about the case. Should I keep it for my new system build, or should I just go out and get a new case? It's certainly big enough for anything I could want to throw at it, but I'm not sure how the cooling system would hold up with a new rig--and an overclocked one at that. It's currently running an Athlon 1800+ at a relatively high temp--about 60-65c idle--but keep in mind this is an old chip and the Palominos always ran very hot (the max safe temperature is listed by AMD as 90c). I ran it through the prime95 stress test and after about 45 minutes it was running around 70c, which makes me wary of using it for a new computer.

Basically, I'm not sure how much cases have improved in the past 5 years. Is the case hopeless (in which case I'll just use it for the DVR I'm working on), or would it make a decent choice for a new system that I intend to overclock? Any thought would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That will be fine. I have the Cheiftec version of it. If you were to use it then you would have to give the inside a thourogh cleaning to get rid of the dust etc. Other than that, its fine. It'll be a standard ATX motherboard fitting.

You may want to buy some new fans for it though. Fans have gotten quieter and have higher output, so be sure to look into that.
