What brand do RTS gamers prefer around overclock. net?

Thread Starter
Hello all,
Looking into buying a new mouse, of good solid quality for playing games such as Starcraft 2. Do any RTS gamers around here have a preferred brand/mouse or a brand they absolutely hate?

Logitech G1/G100/MX300 or Razer Abyssus/salmosa are pretty popular around RTS gamers.

well an entire brand - not really, since every one has the good and the bad (or just bad for some). I think the G400 is currently a great choice for palm grip users.

If your talking pro sc2 gamers G1,g9x,kinzu are the most used mouse.

As in most games played on a pro level people prefer small mice.

A lot of pros are limited in what they use by their sponsors.

To some extent yeah, but alot of pros, nah, most use what they really enjoy.
Especially if your talking korean pro sc2 scene. Qseen keyboard and G1/g9x mice is most popular by far.
And Quakelive
And to some extent cs.

I use the G9x. Played with a G500 for a while but I don't like gaming with the G500 - it's more of a productivity mouse for me. I have one at work and love it here. The G9x is great for gaming though.
