This is what annoys me. If anything, releasing small, frequent updates SAVES them money, so it can't be a cost issue. Rather than having millions of players download a huge 1-2GB update at the same time, they can shoot out tiny 10-100MB updates as a nice list of fixes are made. Oh hey wow there's this groundbreaking bug that allows people to go underground? Let's fix it ASAP and shoot out an update.

This makes total sense! Similiar to valve's constant updates, little by little, at least you know the devs are paying attention

How about stop complaining and show compassion. Dice and their developers spent years making this game. Not months like other companies. People get tired and want vacations and time with their families..so it makes sense things are a little slow. Once their team is fully rested and ready to go I'm sure the delays will stop.

Oh you! Missing the points! No worries, the rest of us seem to understand. We're not complaining in so much as we're unsatisfied with a product we paid for.

The game shouldn't have been released in the form it was released in, it's that simple.

They spent two years, versus the normal one.

I'd be more impressed if this had been worked on for 4.

Yeah, except that most of the stupid problems could be fixed by 1-3 people in a single week. Most of the staff is making DLC or other games, they didn't get to take 4 month vacations. There is no excuse for it when your game net's over 100 million in profits. If they spent years making the game how come it is less complete and polished then most games that are made in 6-9 months?

Also programmers are treated like crap and payed as little as possible. They don't really get time off and they work 80 hour + work weeks often. No one is pissed at the programmers, its the management that released a game unfinished and then made everyone start working on DLC.

If this hasnt already been mentioned then i will. The release on a Tuesday because that gives there game a whole weeks sales before the "top selling games of the week" are shown, so it gives them a larger time to get sales, which will give the game publicity and more sales.
