I've played almost 100H on BF3, and have very little to complain about. In fact, I don't really understand most peoples complaints with this game. Sure, there are a few unbalanced guns (looking at you USAS). Hit detection is a little wacked sometimes, but for the most part the game is quite good.
Collision is horrible. Some things are waist high and you can vault over no problem. Others are simply hit-or-miss. Others will be ankle-high and you can't vault over them at all (blown-out building walls are horrible about this). There are lots of semi-invisible obstacles that are miniscule but still require the whole stupid hurdling animation too, like the concrete pile at the south end of the Grand Bazaar.
Not just hit detection is wonky, but damage assignment as well, and the hitboxes for specific body parts definitely don't line up. Want a headshot with an assault rifle or LMG? Aim for the legs and hope the rifle kicks left. Completely random headshot award!
Crosshairs still randomly disappear and reappear. Doesn't bother me much since I often play hardcore and don't put much stock in hip-spray, but it can still be an annoying issue.
Sound design is still absurdly broken. Footsteps are completely inaudible, even your own cut out from time to time even if there's not much going on. I've even heard a lot of ghost sounds from players that aren't there.
Animations are also stupid, seen too many guys in the middle of a reload animation up and start firing.
