i have a 754 pin cpu.. Athlon 64 3000+ its at 2.5 Ghz, 250 FSB, RAMS at 500Mhz (The stock is 400Mhz) and i had to put the cpu volts up to 1.6 for it to be stable and i get a full load of 45-48C.

Im going to get the Artic 64 Freezer. I hope it will drop my temp a bit.

IF my mind serves me right, and your s939 is a venice then your higest multi is 9x so jack up your fsb as high as you can and run a program like prime95 to test stability.

For someone who "works on computers all day" you sure get confused about a lot of things. Alright, PC3200 is DDR400. PC2700 is DDR333. 3-3-3-8 is kinda slow for DDR400 1GB stick, but I wouldn't consider it "bad". You could tighten them up if you added a little more voltage. Which would be called "vdimm" in the BIOS.

Did you figure out how to set the divider?

1.6v? No. It should be more like 2.6v.
