Emulating is EXTREME cpu orientated. If you OC your cpu it might help, I can play games very nicely with my 2500k at 4.5ghz

Well, I might try doing that then... Even though my time currently is sort of limited, and I'm not really feeling like doing it, but whatever, I might just do it.

True, it would just be easier, I wouldn't have to worry with bugs/stability issues on an emulator (not saying it has lots of those, but I'm sure they happen once in a while).
Also, I'm curious, what games would be good to get? For singleplayer and for local multiplayer with friends.

I would wait for the Wii U, which will play Wii games. That's what I will be doing so I can finally play some Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword smile.gif.

Thing is, I don't even know how much the Wii U will cost... Or if I'll even want to buy it. The gamepad just seems too big and unconfortable, however it may not be the case...
What games are out there on the Wii that are worth getting? I've only seen 10 or so so far, but there may be more...

Also, how would I connect the Wii to my PC monitor? I have a Samsung 226BW, I also have my PS3 connected to it when I want to play it.

The games on Wii that I would personally recommend are:

Zelda Skyward Sword
Zelda Twilight Princess
Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles 1 and 2 ( if you dont want to buy them on PS3 with move, though I would buy them there being HD remakes with trophies ).
Mad World
Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Mario Galaxy

thats all I can really think of off the top of my head, but this is why I skipped the Wii and am going to get the Wii U. Only way Nintendo consoles have been worth it to me is if it can play the new generation plus the previous. That's why I bought a 3DS, because I get the occasional worth while 3DS game, and any game I missed on DS.
