I wouldn't say that. It does take getting used to and the graphics could be slightly better but it is a fun game.

How does it stack up against For Answer (which sucked IMO, & AC4)

I loved the old Armored Core's and the Arena's... intense.

Can;t really compare the two. It is a complete reboot of the series. Most everything has changed. I think it is awesome for it's team play aspect. It encourages multiplayer.

In short it's basically not an Armored Core game. 4 and 4A were more or less the old-style games on crack with just a few new major features. This feels like chromehounds with some mechanics borrowed from 4/4A and completely new features to the franchise.

It's okay, MP seems kinda dead, I tried quickplay and the rooms just wouldn't go past 6/10. And on a saturday afternoon/evening you'd think more people would be on. I was warned that the MP is dead because Konami refuses to bring over patches that are out in Japan so I just rented it on Gamefly, I recommend doing the same to anyone else.

Oh, and is it just me or are the story missions kinda tough? They just wear you down even with the garage. On the other hand I've gone up to like 35 or so order missions and they're easy as cake.
