All mice are .... - Page 4

Maybe the reason why you keep having bad luck with mice is because you keep trying to buy the lightest mice possible. Just saying... heavier products is usually a sign of being built better. Not always, but usually.

You can also disable all types of acceleration on the G9x. You can install setpoint, get the mouse the way you like and store it in the mouses database and then uninstall setpoint.

I love my Ikari Laser....does it have accel? I do not know if it does and never noticed it. I use it on a cheap cloth pad and love it. Before that I was using a MX Laser 1000 wireless which was heavy, but I liked the feel of it. The Ikari is a similar shape. I also still have my MX510 which I have loved for the past 8 years. I do not get all these people complaining about acceleration and what not, am I just never noticing it? I have been playing games since forever and even enjoy using the old (from 2000) Intellimouse optical as well. Maybe I am not picky enough.

The second batch Zowie AM fixed the button problem, and have low LoD.
By now all Zowie AM should be second batch.
My Zowie AM doesn't have button problems.

Ever heard of Mionix...their 3200 starts at 99g w/o cord. http://www.mionix.net/page.php?al=naos3200

The Naos 5000 is just as light and has adjustable weights. If you buy one of their mousepads, it will really pair nicely.

Thank you! I came here to mention them. I have used every mouse in this thread and the Mionix Naos 5000 handily beats them all. Personally, I use all the weights in mine, but for your use you probably wouldn't want any.

MX518 is nice and still sold for $60. Should be less since the G400 is out in the market

I love my MX performance mouse that I have been using for the past 2.5 years. I must have terrible tastes since no one ever recommends it.

The progamers dont seem to mind using mice like sensei, kinzu v1, deathadder 3.5g, g9x etc.

And like no progamer use mice like Zowie AM, G400 which have the best sensor.

If a couple of grams bothers you that much go to the gym for a couple of hours each week, build up some muscle. Offset the extra weight with extra muscle, while also getting fit.

win/win...and win
