680 Overclocking (Calling all owners!) - Page 16

Ok , I got my result. I didn`t touch the voltage at all. I guess when the voltage is cranked up it shouldn`t be a problem getting way higher. But 1250 are IMHO not too bad.

I'm having a hard time understanding how to overclock one of these.

Could someone guide me? biggrin.gif

I use EVGA Precision X, power target to 132%, GPU Clock OFfset to +150MHz, Mem Clock offset +0MHz.

I applied, but the FPS gain in Unigine Heaven seem to be 2fps only? That has to be wrong?

im a little lost also but do know, your power target is correct and to increase core clocks use the GPU offset. for the memory, add to that also, +0 is it's stock setting and looks like most are getting to +500

my settings are 132%- +200 - +500 get thorough 3DMark 11 and Heaven .

Id help if i could, sometimes when i just restart my computer and then try running a benchmark, it won't clock higher than 540, once i had to reset 4 times in a row just to get it in 3d clocks, other times I'll use the same settings after a fresh restart and I'll either get p9600 or p10100 in 3dmark2011, it's like the card has a mind of its own

I have tried +200MHz Core Clock + 120% Power Target (seems to last longer than 132% in Unigine Heaven ) + 70% Fan speed + 1.175v but can't get it to be stable..

What am I doing wrong? frown.gif

Edit:

EVGA Precision X reads 1.175v no matter what voltage I set it to, is voltage control even working? I am starting to think it aint. eek.gif

Edit2:

So yeah looks like there's no voltage control yet.

Tried +150MHz Core Clock + 130% Power Target + 70% Fan Speed and it was fully stable in Unigine Heaven, let's see if it can do +160MHz. biggrin.gif

Holy crap +150MHz is a huge jump without voltage control, impressive card. tongue.gif

yeah don't adjust the voltage with precision as they say can make OC unstable. odd with heaven mine gets though it with 132% +200. anything over +200 or +500 i get the display driver error. also to note, if you get that error have to re-set everything and re=apply. nice OC btw
