at OBR they raised voltage to 1,18v. so is voltage overclocking possible?

Err... you mean like every other GPU overclocking? Thanks for the update ;p

But I suppose you would deem it somehow better/different if your card were to simply crash earlier than your friends?

Don OC that ram like crazy, Its already at "max" with 6ghz, i would OC max 150-200mhz, and not 300mhz+ like you're doing it, imo that's huge overkill when it comes to stability.

Also i agree that dynamic clock is Bleh..

The video review posted by EVGA_Jacob said there's a lot of room on this new type of memory. I think the Nvidia rep actually recommended 400+mhz (the eyes nerdsmiley.png ). I forgot the exact wording. It's a long video and I'm almost done watching it so I don't feel like going back to find it. But it is an informative video. Thanks again Jacob thumb.gif

We have to play with PhysX off for more GPU utilization? I don't know how that works, but I don't like where this is going...

I haven't yet watched the video but probably will soon. As far as PhysX affecting GPU utilization, I think what Jacob meant (and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, sir!) was that since PhysX consumes GPU time and must reserve resources for itself (in case of more time needed for a given frame), you will have lower overall GPU utilization for graphics (including what is shown by overlays) due to that. Thus, to increase GPU graphics utilization, lowering PhysX settings would do the trick.

This would make sense and is not really any different then previous cards.

physx 2 is doomed & unoptimized bull.. that's why it sucks on single gpus..Gpu usage drops while there is a lot of stuff going on..

perfect example Alice2; 60fps cap in most intense parts of the game gpu usage drops to low 50% and fps plums down to 37fps, that's why they capped it to 31fps. heh Batman Ac is the same, it can put gpu to the max in few parts but when there is severe physx stuff happening fps /gpu usage drops and starts to crawl.. Im at lower non HD reso so insufficient resources isnt a issue...

we need physx3 already!

You can change the 30 FPS cap in Alice to 60 just fyi.

And are you joking or can't read? tongue.gif

FYI I said with 60fps cap it does that >> fps crawls down to 37fps that's why they used 31fps cap in the first place.. Anyway its not relevant.
