Funny, I was able to find an OC that passed Heaven, but once I got on BF3 I crashed after 15 minutes-ish of gameplay.

@humafold got it haha thumb.gif

Weird because its been backwards for me. I gamed for 1 hour on bf3 but couldn't pass the heaven bench at 1215. Mines just like yours, does 1200 but not 1215.

Guess I got lucky with two that can hit 1256 fully stable.
post #733 of 1059
Mine is still running 1300MHz stable for countless hours in Battlefield 3. I have a very aggressive fan profile, so it is actually running at 1300MHz the whole time as well. thumb.gifbiggrin.gif

yeah def weird.

Im not saying drivers are a problem, but I cant wait for future drivers for this card. It can only improve from here on out.

Right? tongue.gif

I too am at 1300Mhz and have 3450Mhz ram. Im stoked on my good chip. I also have my custom fan profile set agressively so its at 85% at 68c so it doesnt hit 70c and do the thermal throttle thing. Im honestly suprised every one is saying this card is so quiet. It seems pretty loud to me compared to the other 8 case/cpu fans. I could only imagine what a AMD 6990 sounds like lol. If i had extra cash $ laying around id water cool my rig but i wouldnt be gaining much if any overclock on my GPU or 5Ghz CPU. Though my mobo would look *****en water cooled so i could see my VRM/NB/SB heat sink and ASUS ROG lights. Hell i cant even see my ram with the NH-D14. But it cools like a beast

Well any GPU cooler is loud at 85% LOL. I found I could keep it under 70C with 70-75% fan and that 10-15% makes a pretty big difference in noise level.

This thing is QUIET. Fan hits mid 60% and I really dont notice it to be honest. My 4890 on the other hand was already noticeable at 45%. That thing gets loud during BF3.

Anyway, ive been sticking with 1202 core. Played around 10 rounds with no crashing. I guess this is my limit. I think I could work the memory a little higher, but dont know if it would even make an FPS difference.

Overall, Im pretty happy with it. Runs BF3 very nicely. Maxed out isnt even necessary. I have a couple settings at high. No HBAO. MSAA still at 4x.

Lower frames with B2K maps, but seems like everyone has this issue I guess.

Ok Jacob, some specs on this baby.

What is the voltage limit on this five phase 8+6 pin connector running 1084 Core with 1150 Boost ?
