I don't see a big variance in my boost clock though. Whatever I set it at it seems to sit there. Weather its heaven or BF3. My core jumps to 1195 and is stuck there.
I'm sure the voltage thing also has a lot to do with 28nm. Seems to be more heat sensitive and probably voltage sensitive.

Mine did dip low 50s FPS on 1440p. Well because I like playing at Ultra.

I like ultra too. But I play at 1080p.

I'm at +150/+400 with fan at 65%, and the card's max temp after an hour of BF3 was 54 deg C. Very pleased with it so far! thumb.gif

Because every cards are different, you probably didn't know.

Someone with +150 core hits 1200Mhz.
Mine takes +80 core to hits 1200Mhz.

All the GPU's are different, mine boosts to 1137 at stock and thats 80 more than its meant to. So my offset will produce a different core clock to yours.

It's such a tease! WTB vcore control.

I posted a question about this in their 680 reviews thread, and Hilbert responded with "We'll investigate, thanks." Maybe it's not him after all confused.gif

My 680 loads at 35C and it gave me an extra 15-20MHz, not exactly "worth it" as far as custom water goes lol. The card that's shown the most promise in my opinion is the Zotac Extreme Edition:
Quote:
The 12 Phase VRM makes use of server-grade tantalum capacitors, and FPCAP multi-phase capacitors and is controlled by the CHiL CHL8318 VRM controller. According to Zotac officials, The card can reach upto 2GHz Clock frequency at a VCore of 1.5V provided you’re using LN2 cooling.

Like its been mentioned, +50 or +100 for you might only need to be +37 and +87 for me, to reach the same boosts, for example.

I can't wait for TXAA to replace MSAA for better quality at less the performance hit.
Quote:
TXAA, which we talked about a little earlier, turns out to be a super-efficient temporal anti-aliasing algorithm. It has two levels: TXAA(1), and TXAA2. TXAA1 provides the image quality comparable to 16X MSAA, with the performance-penalty of 2X MSAA; while TXAA2 offers image quality higher than 16X MSAA (unlike anything you've seen), with the performance-penalty of 4X MSAA. Since few games natively support it, you will be able to enable it through the NVIDIA Control Panel, in the application profiles, provided you have a Kepler architecture GPU.

Others answered but its different for each card. Offset changes the base clock. Boost seems to do what it wants.
