GPU-Z Download Link From TechPowerUP!

You want to open GPU-Z to monitor before you start your benching or gaming to see what Core levels your reaching.

An example below in the pic is screen shot I took after I was done gaming in Crysis which shows my 690 which is a dual GPU where I have them synced to the same core clocks (See center GPU-Z).

The left pic is GPU-Z shot on the Sensors tab which you can click on the value to see min / avg / max core clocks reached shows GPU #1 value. Click in the box to show you which value your interested in. I've got mine showing 'max' core reached. The right pic shows my GPU #2 value.

I'm seeing that the two GPU's are reaching different values which is my GPU Boost which base value started at 1045 MHz Boost shows 1150 MHz but dynamic over clocking with my power target maxed to +135 took it to a potential of 1175 Mhz and 1201 MHz Core clocks.

Hope that helped show you how you can monitor your over clocks. thumb.gif

Thanks alot now i get..but how do i make the gpu-z to keep showing me the max core clock?if i minimize the game for a second to see the core clock it jumps down and cant follow the highest clock i am getting...so how do i make it to keep the log?

Notice on the sensors tab at the bottom there is a 'Log to File'. IF you click on it for the first time it should bring up the folder you can store you logs in a notes document which shows all the values and dated. If it doesn't automatically open the folder up, unchecking it and recheck it should force it open.

No need to minimize it. Leave it open on your desk top.

If you got a Ref card the stock is 1058 anything above that is a bonus. Some do more some do less.

You didn't click in the Core box to show what you maxed. Click inside it to display maximum, minimum or average. In your case you should check what your max core l
Clock reached.

You can also view your log file if you have it checked it was recording your stats.

Thanks Arizonian,

I'll post the system specs a little later today but in general I would think/hope my i7 CPU is not bottlenecking as it is already over clocked to 4ghz per core.

One thing I did notice, my pci is 2.0 and haven't got the new 3.0 - could this be a reason a lower uningine score with a high clock over clock?

Ok thanks alot but can you tell me how come i am not stable with +95 offset core and +450mem?ive seen people doing over 140 offset core and they are stable...did i get a ****ty card?right now i am stable with 90core and 450mem
EDIT:my gpu is playing tricks on me?sometimes when i run unigine with +120core offset its stable and sometimes it crashes...what is it...

Hi,

so, I ran the Benchmark with the GPU-Z tool running in the background to monitor the card. As you can see from the snapshot it seems to be hitting pretty high clock speeds which I thought was what it was all about.

However, this must mean that something must be bottlenecking my benchmark as I saw that people with similar setups as me getting much higher scores with a smaller overclock.

I got an i7 CPU overclocked to 4Ghz
8 GB RAM

My GPU you can see below.

Is an Unigine score of ~1130 seem appropriate for this setup or am I doing something wrong / missing something?

Thanks!
