This is the trailer that we were going around and showing off to all the bigwigs at this year's GDC.
GDC- The Game Developers Conference that runs every year in beautiful San Francisco and brings together the industries elite players for important business deals and networking as well as keynote speeches and roundtables.
It was our team's first GDC, and it was wild. Possibly the most frantic and fun week we've had to date as a team, we all ended up sick and exhausted
Oh man this looks sweet. I've been thinking the gaming world needs something like this. I've been saying we need an even older type of FPS like this; like a Greek/Roman era one with maybe hand-to-hand combat and stuff.
Looks like someone finally adopted the gameplay Dark Messiah used for combat. The only downside to that game was the world was linear as hell but I'll be damned if it wasn't the best melee system ever made.

Animations are clunky, weapons are low-res and ugly, and the graphics generally look circa 2008. Unless this is an indie, I'm kind of appalled at how bad it looks. And yes I saw the pre-alpha tag - if it looks better when it's ready for release, I'll take another look since I love Mediaeval themed anything.
Just so you guys know, Chivalry looks like it will be replacing Age of Chivalry... hence the very VERY similar game style: http://www.age-of-chivalry.com/
Personally, I can't wait to play this one. I loved Age of Chivalry.
It used to be called Chivalry: Battle for Agatha, which had to do with the games plot.
Then they changed it because they thought Medieval Warfare would get people confused with the Modern Warfare series. Really tick sme off they'd do that, but it is a business.
Been following them for years.
Not sure why you named the thread as you did, you don't even mention the games name, only YoUTube video does.
Game comes out October 16th if anyone is interested.
