Thinking About Retiring the WRT54 - Need Tomato

I love my WRT54 but it doesn't play nice with my phone(CM7 - weird) and I might as well upgrade this dinosaur to something with draft-N. What I need: tomato support and something that won't crap out on torrents. I have around 4 wireless devices and 4 wired devices so it's nothing big. Looks like I'm down to the WR1043ND and ASUS RT-N16. I've read good things about both. The TL is cheaper but it's hard to gamble on something like this as I've been down that road before with routers that couldn't handle more than 2 torrents. I know the Asus has a pretty bullet proof reputation. Thoughts from the pros? Anybody have a WR1043ND?

I like DDWRT better and you can find a ton of Wireless N Routers that support it in the 20-30 buck range pretty easily these days.

The TPLink WR1043ND also has support for Gargoyle Router which is a pretty godly firmware.

I also like DDWRT but prefer tomato. I'm looking for something that is proven to handle heavy torrenting/other crap so I don't want to skimp too bad unless there are routers in that price range that are proven?

I've never heard of Gargoyle but I'll definitely check it out. The more options the better. I just want to make sure the router I get is as robust as my WRT54.
