NVIDIA GTX 460 v2 - Any owners out there?

It's surprising how little information there is on this GTX 460 v2 card. I found exactly zero reviews on the web.

Newegg has this card on sale after rebate for only $90. I'm reading through user reports that its very overclockable.

Anyone else have this card and liking it? The overclocking decent?

I bought one so I can finally play Crysis 1. wink.gif

Crysis 1 on that? It isn't going to handle the game very well. It's basically a crippled 460.

That's a popular myth that it's crippled. The memory bus is smaller at 192-bit but it's has a faster core and memory speed which actually puts performance on par with the first version. And as I said in my original post, it supposed to overclock better than the original GTX 460 (256-bit) model.

And it should run Crysis on High without a huge issue. Heck my GT 240 will run Crysis on high with a fps 25-35 at 720p.

I have the card but I have been unable to find a linux driver. I would like to use it for CUDA but I am new to this and do not know if I need a working driver first.

http://www.geforce.com/drivers

Just select the Linux driver from nvidia's site. 32 and 64-bit versions.
