dude we need more info and more pictures.

where are the control knobs?
how are the fans controlled? undervolting?
manual or automaic or both?
how many temp sensors and what kind?

So I bought one.

One of the four bulbs is dead, doesn't fit in my 5.25 bays, and one of the parts gets so hot it burned me.

If you could take a few pictures of the problem with the unit on and installed, that would be fantastic.

I'll try and get around to it. In the mean time, after trying it out on a different molex, one of the parts decided to actually burn itself off the main board.

Case that it didn't fit was a corsair C70, sides seemed a bit wide.

It didn't come with the interchangeable faceplates. It says that they're included, right there in the ad.
I e-mailed Xoxide several times and they won't even respond.
The model number matches what's advertised on the Lamptron site: http://www.lamptron.com/product/controllers/fc10/
It also lists as having the interchangeable faceplates included in the package.
How do I get these faceplates that I've paid for that weren't in the package?

kzinti1, what the description in Xoxide means by "Interchangeable faceplates" is that you can acquire faceplates with different designs to suit your case, not that they come with it. Only the FC10 SE comes with the faceplates actually included within the package.

It's more than a little misleading as is and not the least bit fair to the consumer.
