Hi all,

i need your advice on something...currently i have an AMD 6950 that is connected to an AV receiver with hdmi. The receiver is connected to a 7.1 system. For movies the sound is good. My question is for games it is better to have for example a titanium x-fi or use the AMD and save some money? smile.gif

The titanium x-fi would help allot if you don't mind spending money, but you can always save your money and get new speakers? If I can ask what speaker setup you have?

Oh if you want something great and cheap I WOULD HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE ProMedia 2.1 Computer Speakers!!! World's best 2.1 speakers, and if you place them right (sub woofer on the ground and the speakers about 3-5 ft apart) IT'S AMAZING I had mine since like early 2000 (2000-2003 something like that I don't remember) and it's 2012 and they work like they are brand new. I seriously would recommend this then a new sound card. I hope you take my advice;) thumb.gif

I use these speakers for gaming, theater, and music use. I don't know I was giving you an idea. wink.gif
Though I wish Klipsch would make 5.1 or even 7.1 of those type of speakers. A person can dream... a person can dream
