yes its MB... i am running @ 1080p
since GTX460 is 1GB it cant go over 1GB...i have seen guys on OCN who were running GTX570s 1.2GB and going out of VRAM

yeah me too at 1080p but I have 460 1gb in SLI, and ultra it say 920MB for both! Do those add up or is it because the card can never go up to the 1024MB max?

i play bf3 with EVERYTHING maxed at 1920x1200 with sli 470s . thats only 1.24gb of vram lol.

my free vram drops to almost zero , it much cache it pretty fast because it only stutters every now and then

naaah bro Vram doesn't add up....in ur case 920MB for both 460s

since ur limit is 1024MB it cant go above that
even i was confused when all the VRAM fuss began........thought if i SLI this 3GB version with a 1.5GB lightning then i would use 3GB for both of them XD
but unfortunately it would use 1.5GB for two GPUs

still seems strange that the op is not cranking out 60+ frames with two 680's even on that bigger screen. I thought maybe he's running three screens at that rez then the frames he's getting would be pretty normal. but you should be able to run everything at it's absolute highest setting and not even see the frame rate dip below 60 IMO

I play with 3g of vram and I've seen it go over 1.7g on ultra at 1080p 4x msaa. On crysis 2 maxed ive seen 2000mb.

My 5870 rig lags because it runs out of vram its only a 1g card.

yeah going from my 1gb 460 SLI all High to Ultra, avg frames go from 70...35. The HBAO really kills it, but I get CARAZY stutter with ultra since the 1gb holds me back.
