Not at all. I think its sad how wasteful people are now days with their money. People can blow 3 grand on a PC that wont last 3 years, but when Christmas comes and the santas start posting outside store doors, they don't even have 5 dollars to donate.

You're thinking the Mac people. Cheer up.

Plus, Haswell's not due for a year, and Haswll EP's not due for 2, maybe three. And IVB-E is meant to be skipped.

What do you think I should take apart next?

see this is why i dont understand people. WHY THE HATE???? also it lasts more than most pcs, as far as apple continues support and updates for any os, it does last. i bought my ipod in sept.2009 and software support will be discontinued around sept.2012. also, this is really vague but, "if you bought one 3yrs ago, you can buy a new one" but its kinda true. tbh, i change my pc every 36 months/3years, and in the mean time new tech. bugs are found and usually already fixed.

OC Key is a OSD for OCing. It needs an extra keyboard though. frown.gif

Well, Apple is overpriced. The only real reasons to buy Apple is these three:
  • Retina MBP
  • iOS/OS X
  • xCode

Else they are all overpriced.

Posted on an iPhone 4, wishing I'd waited for an S3.

i have to agree. I use a MBP13 and several ipods. the OS is awesome for sure, but would i prefer a 4s over a S3? not much, maybe when 5 comes out and becomes a real competitor. btw i'm STILL waiting for the pm biggrin.gif

OS X can be easily installed on a regular PC and XCode is part of Apple ecosystem so its not really an argument for someone without Apple products.

Good point on hackintosh, but the problem is that the app store gets you more money than the play store sadly.

This. Also not always hackintosh work flawlessly, some have issues with sleeping and AppStore issues. also compatibility kinda renders it useless. sure at the end you pay less for usually more performance, but at every update trying to kinda reinstall the whole OSX (installing drivers again) might not be worth it.
