I did a build recently with the Cosmos2. Its an exceptionally well constructed case with a lot of thought put into it. However, they did kind of drop the ball when it comes to water cooling. For as big as that thing is, you should be able to at least get a full 360 rad in there with a push/pull. Without modding it, you can't. You can do two 240s in the bottom if you take out the HDD bays. Its not perfect, but it'll work. Another option is a 180 by taking out the upper set of HDD bays. Its a shame, with the case being so nice, they configured it wrong IMO.
I'll try removing the PSU standoff and moving the PSU (and standoff) up, to see if that makes me able to fit a 480 at the bottom! wink.gif

The Cosmos 2 is a good case, but it will be hard for him to assemble a WC setup of this size. If he decides to ignore our opinions and go for the Cosmos 2 regardless, that's his decision.
Thanks!

I have, I'm kinda considering the STH10, but not the little devil.

Pics will come when the parts come! (As in 4-6 weeks, due to the hydrocopper redface.gif)

Don't like the looks of the TJ11.

There has to be some benefit when my CPU isn't getting the heat from three 480's, anyhow while playing BF3 cards are at 45c+ and the CPU is at a nice cool 20c, then the NB & SB on it's loop at 33c, now if they were all on one loop I'm sure my CPU wouldn't be at 20c anymore. wink.gif

Good luck with the build - I am sure it will be great thumb.gif
Removing the lower drivecage is normal: when would I EVER use the Marvell ports? I've got 6 ports(apart from those) : 1 for the ODD, and 5 for the HDD/SSDs.

My budget is now lowered. Any suggestions on cheaper parts? My new budget is 3800 pounds and i don't want to change:
CPU
Mobo
GPU
Watercooling setup

Get rif of the PWM splitters or get cheaper ones... Try eBay or something.

Remove the RAM watercooling, honestly that shouldn't even be there in the first place tongue.gif

Go with a 120SSD? Remove the Raptor drive and use the 3TB one as media/backup.

You could get the Corsair HX1050 if you really want 1kw+. AX1200 is really expensive and... Well, not entirely necessary here, or do you want to to quad SLI with that budget?

You could get rid of the "protection" plan since the CPU has a good warranty by itself.

You could get 16GB of RAM instead of 32. 4x4GB Dimms. If you REEEEALLY need 32 you can just add more in the future, you still have 4 more open slots.

Instead of the 3011 you could opt for the 27 in. one. It's still pretty badass and excellent quality.

I don't know what else to say since you lowered your budget by half but basically want to keep the exact config...

In good cases I might suggest an Asus Sabertooth Instead of the Rampage? Or even a WS Rev if there is an x79 chipset one, those are high end mobo's as well.

Remove the RAM watercooling, honestly that shouldn't even be there in the first place tongue.gifDepends whether I can reach budget with it.
Go with a 120SSD? Remove the Raptor drive and use the 3TB one as media/backup. Raptor removed, changing to a 120 SSD, and I'll remove the 1.5/2 TB drive.
You could get the Corsair HX1050 if you really want 1kw+. AX1200 is really expensive and... Well, not entirely necessary here, or do you want to to quad SLI with that budget? I don't. But I want a fully modular PSU, so I'm probabliy going with the cheapest AX and then upgrade to the AX1200 when I quadsli.
You could get rid of the "protection" plan since the CPU has a good warranty by itself. Forgot to remove it facepalm.png

Instead of the 3011 you could opt for the 27 in. one. It's still pretty badass and excellent quality. I'll see the budget.
