just saw this post. what are your minimum frames ? they cant be worth playing at. i play with mixed high and mostly ultra settings and drop down to low-mid 40 frames.
and you on a stock 560. i crank my 5850 far beyond 5870 settings.
lol'ing wondering how far theyd drop at full ultra.

Not sure what's funny here, but yes I get 30-45 fps on ultra, dips down to 25 on a heavy server. I cannot play on ultra if I'm playing heavy 64 player server.

I only have sli 560's non ti. I get 60 fps on multiplayer in bf3. But not all maxed out. Should I just invest in a 680? Or go ati? Or buy two 560 ti 2gb cards? What's the cheapest way for performance ???

Best bang for buck higher-end cards are 7850, 7870, and 670, with 7950/7970 not far behind. Depending on what you can get the 560ti 2GB cards for that's potentially a great value setup as well.

Have you overclocked the cards yet? the 560 is very overclockable. mine will run at 950/1900/2300 (stock is 810/1620/2000 I think) pretty easily and i get a pretty substantial boost, In fact, they run a bit better than a buddy of mine's 470's in sli. thumb.gif

I do have them overclocked a tad, 880mhz is what I have it cranked to. If I go higher they shut down. What voltage do I set them to to get higher clock? Note my 560's are non ti brand. Should I stick with what I got or get a better card? Even with sli I cannot get settings in bf3 to ultra. Just wondering if it's my CPU or gpu.... CPU set to 4.0ghz

yea mine are non ti's as well. and my clock is at stock voltage, I never touched the voltage, not with out better cooling. but 880 is pretty decent, what about the memory clock? that will help some too. maybe set it at 2150 or 2200. are you using msi afterburner or a similar program for gpu overclocking?

I guess you might just be at your rigs limit for bf3 (which is weird because from what I've heard, bf3 is one of the few games that take advantage of more cores in a processor).

I know we asked you before in the thread, but have you tried the fxaa injector mod yet? It looks better than stock bf3 maxed out, and is much easier to run.
