That's not what I meant and you know it. There's a difference between video game realism and real life. GTA IV had the perfect balance between realism and fun. The cars were ridiculously easy to maneuver like in SA and ever previous GTA, they were a little more slippery (depending on the car) but still maintained that fun factor. The story was well written, Ballad of Gay Tony had a fantastic story, the best in the series I would say. San Andreas story was alright, but I couldn't get engrossed in it. The only thing GTA 4 didn't have that SA did was the immensive amount of customization you could do to anything. I wasn't really missing that, I never did it often in SA in the first place.
But we all know the direction GTA is going in. Love it or hate it, that's where it's going. You're not going to change that.
Have you played Saints Row The Third? Maybe that's more of your game.

What I am trying to say is that it's a game and some people like it to be as realistic as possible but at the same time to be fun.
