Anyone know how many gentle typhoon ap-15s the rheobus extreme can handle? The rheobus is rated at 30W per channel, so I have 6x 30 watts right? The gentle are rated at .08Amps and 12V which is about .96W. Therefore, I am planning to get those 3 pin modmytoys pcb boards to connect 3 gentle typhoon per channel. Would this work? Has anyone tried this? I wont burn out my psu / fan controller right redface.gif?

It's a standard female pin--most modular PSU's should be cabled female -> female. And square/rounded/D shaped hasn't mattered in my experience, they all fit the male pins (on the Mobo and PSU) just fine.

Yes that'll work fine. By that math, you should be able to control 30 of the fans per channel (0.083A * 12V = 0.996W). Until today I wasn't aware that AP-15's had such low power requirements wha-smiley.png

I'm running 8 Yate loon medium's (0.3A * 12V = 3.6W) per channel on my Rheosmart 6 (30W/channel) and having no issues. Pushes them like a champ.
