Fact. There was a review awhile ago with a 6950 at 4X/8X/16X speeds
The difference between 8X and 16X was 0. While the difference between 4X and 8X was half a frame a second and thats with a card thats twice as powerful as a 4870.
What determines bandwidth is how much the card can process.

lol

Why is it so difficult for people to understand the difference between a single card @x16 vs. @x8 vs. @x4 to Crossfire/SLI one card @x16 and the other @x4 are two different subjects? lol

Where does it say in that review?

GTX480 SLI;

GTX480 #1 PCIe @x16

GTX480 #2 PCIe @x4

It only says;

GTX480 SLI 2 x PCIe 2.0 @x16

GTX480 SLI 2 x PCIe 2.0 @x8

GTX480 SLI 2 x PCIe 2.0 @x4

I know it's a bit off topic, but I would LOVE to see some comparative benchmarks. I'd bet money the 960T unlocked @ 4.0Ghz is considerably faster in just about anything over the FX6100, at least w/ the same graphics setup.
