Microcenter CPU deals?

I hear that people are going to microcenter and piking up i5 2500ks and i7 2600ks for way cheaper than other places such as newegg. Where can I find these combo deals and coupons for microcenter so i can save some money on a processor for my gaming build?

-thanks smile.gif

The combo deals are usually just a matter of what deals they are running at the time. Though, I imagine coupons could be involved sometimes, they are not always needed. For just the CPU itself, Microcenter offers the lowest price everyday. No coupons, no sales... just walk in and buy it for the best price available. Its been that way for a while and I'd imagine its not going to change. I bought my 2600K there over a year ago and they are still the same price.

Your talking about the facebook deal. They were selling a I5 2550K for $149.99. It ended about 3 days ago. But right now if you buy a motherboard and cpu combo you get about $30-$50 off. So i myself am switching over to intel. Getting an I5 2500k and Asus P8Z68-V Pro for $350. Also there is a $15 off anything in the store coupon. Here is the link to a forum page where they send you it to your email.

Have fun with your build:)

You have to go on Micro Center's Facebook page and "like" their page and all the deals show up on there as far as top-end deals. They also have a weekly or monthly catalog where they might have deals. If you subscribe through email, they send you some lower-end deals on some smaller, cheaper items. Facebook is where they posted the cpu deals.

Currently, it seems as though they still have the 2550k deal running. When I printed mine, it said the coupon expires April 1st, 2012 so the deal should still be active.
